Findon Smithy,
With Grade B Listing, Gamrie Lodge circa. 1828 is a fine example of a four storey, Regency Buchan, former Manse.
Currently undergoing restoration by the present owners, the Lodge, with it's distinctive projecting semi-circular stair tower, is set peacefully amidst lightly wooded grounds, yet commands uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside of Aberdeenshire Scotland.
Built around a private gravelled courtyard, the former stables and coach house have been sympathetically converted to provide two well proportioned and tastefully appointed self-catering cottages which are available throughout the year.
Come and visit the beautiful Moray Coast of Scotland and be enchanted by the rolling countryside, explore local deserted wave washed beaches and enjoy the friendly hospitality of local towns and villages like Banff, Crovie, Gardenstown, Portsoy and Pennan.
Our weekend was great and much of that was due to the standard and quality of the accommodation. The decor and furnishings are all to a very high standard so much so you felt as if you could live in it full time as a home rather than a holiday let. We would love to come back to see more of the area and some of the attractions. Douglas Wallace, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
