• Great Xmas works meal

  Went here for our Xmas works night out. Was pleasantly surprised as last time I was here was years ago and it was a really old fashioned carvery. Place has completely changed and is quite trendy now and has a really comfy atmosphere. The meal was very reasonable priced, £22.50 for a three course Xmas dinner. I think there are new owners so perhaps they are keeping the price down to attract new customers. The meal was much better than your usual Xmas dinner too, and huge portions. Will definately be going back.

• Great Food!!!!!

  After our first visit in over a year, we couldnt believe it was the same place. It has been fully refurbished to a high standard. After friends had been in for dinner a few weeks they recommended we should give it a go again. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by a girl who promtly sat us a lovely table in the lounge area. I ordered the haddock & fries, my friend ordered the lamb and the 'Daily Special' roast beef with all the trimmings. The food arrived quickly and may I say the main courses we ordered were all wonderful. We then finished with sweets and coffee I can recommend the chefs home made sticky toffee pudding, very good indeed. The total bill came to £63 very reasonable. Will be heading back for an other girlie lunch very soon.

• SO MUCH IMPROVED - LOVELY NOW

  I ate there 15th april with 3 friends - the meal was really delicious, couldn't fault it. The service was a bit erratic but not too bad. Price has gone up (+/- 8-10 for mains) but worth the increase as it's so much better than before. The new decor is good, too, more neutral and v.comfortable. Definately going back!

• The Best Meal I'v Had In A Long Time!

  I visited the Four Mile House on the 22nd of Feb, and i had a fantastic Strathdon Chicken! I would highly recomend The Four Mile house to anyone! It was also excellant for my four year old son who enjoyed his pizza and chips off of their childrens menu. from a very happy customer, kingswells
