11 Sea Beach, Town Centre,It's good, agreed, but "The Washington" must surely beat it?
Like your other reviewers, I too found the staff very friendly. They helped out when I discovered my eggs were a bit chooch when I prefer them runny. The waitress swapped them with a loon at the next table and although he asked me for a sausage as commission it was all very amicable. In fact other tables joined in and a market was developing in the trade of mushrooms for grilled tomatoes, tattie scones and bacon rashers. As I left I thought that all these meals must be getting cold - but then you accept that in Aberdeen. Hamish McSporran
Like your earlier reviewer, Mr McLeish, I too found the staff very friendly. He mentions warm days with ice-cream but I find it tends to melt into my mittens. I asked the manager why the prices were so high and he confessed that the cafe had to support a renegade member of the family who was in something he called rehab in London. I asked did he mean 'prefab' but apparently not.
Well I would like to inform other cafe go'ers that this place was a plesent place to go and get a good meal from! the staff were as friendly as can be, the food didnt take long to come at all and it tasted wonderful. It is also a nice location on the beach, as it is just round the corner from the cinema which means you dont have to go to the center of town for food. On warm days they have the best Ice cream for keeping your cool.
Great place, Only wish i could give more than 5 stars!
Thanks
